Study: Opportunities for dual study differ considerably from federal state to federal state
Dual study is growing in popularity in Germany, but not in all federal states. Around 30 per cent of first-year students in Saarland and 14 per cent in Baden-Württemberg are enrolled on dual study programmes; in Saxony-Anhalt and Bremen, however, only around 1 per cent of entrants opted for this type of programme. This is the conclusion reached by a study conducted by the CHE Centre for Higher Education, the first ever analysis of how dual study is developing in all 16 federal states.
